Hi, I’m Jessa Graves, founder of HelpStart and your first ops hire (on demand). I’m a PHR-certified People and Operations leader with 10+ years of experience across HR and business operations. I’ve owned the full employee lifecycle and led initiatives that shape how teams hire, grow, and work together.
I’ve been an early hire at three startups and led Ops and later People Ops at WorkStep through key stages of growth. I built and scaled systems from scratch, owned company-wide programs, and drove strategy across onboarding, engagement, compliance, recognition, and culture.
HelpStart exists to give small businesses and startups flexible, strategic support. I believe in lean systems, clear communication, and building operations that scale with intention.
